Seafront promenade

he bay of Pollença offers a long strip of beaches and promenades that starts in the area of the Paseo de Colón, continues along the entire front line of the ‘Moll’ and reaches the Albufereta, to enter the neighbouring municipality of Alcudia. 

History and Culture

From its beginnings as a military base during the Civil War, the wealthy families of Madrid and Palma built beautiful retreats along the bay, known at the beginning of the 20th century as the ‘Paseo de los Pinos’. To this day, it is considered one of the most beautiful places in Mallorca.

Pollença

Just a few minutes from Puerto Pollensa, it is characterised by its narrow streets surrounding the main square full of cafés, restaurants and bars. It stands out for its wonderful artistic essence.

In its more recent history, specifically during the first half of the last century, it became a colony populated by artists, writers and musicians who discovered the beauty of the region, settling in Pollensa and making it a very attractive place for visitors from all over the world ever since.
